Ice Diving

Diving beneath the ice is the ultimate Arctic challenge. When you sink below the surface of Lake Torne for your first dive, you will be struck by the beauty of the under ice habitat. In collaboration with world famous diver Jean-Jaques Mayol, Camp Kenny has developed a unique ice diving program which focuses on relaxation and concentration. Ice diving is a specialized form of diving that requires careful preparation. Thus participants will be carefully introduced to dive site preparation and line signaling while also learning about the physical aspects of cold water diving. In true Lapland-style we will end each session with a steaming wood-heated sauna.
